MY 22ND ANNIVERSARY
I hear many people say,"My second marriage is better than my first". For me it's the absolute truth. I can't even remember my first except for my two grown children.
It's like my life started when I married my present companion and best friend. She makes my life complete, she starts my motor every day, she picks me up when I need it, she's the most caring unbelievable woman I've ever known.
I'm the luckiest guy in the world. We have a great family with 5 kids between us, all adults. Eight granchildren and one great grandchild and here's the best part, they all live here. All of our close friends that we see almost daily are so jealous because parts of their families live elsewhere.
As I start my 23rd year with my best friend I wonder what could we do to make it better. Winning the lottery might make it as a start.
